Twenty-minute suite of acoustic guitar recorded outside in Bastrop State Park in Texas. In 2012, a devasting fire burned 32,000 acres of a rare eastern stand of loblolly trees.

This recording was made in conjunction with a book and exhibition at Lora Reynolds Gallery in Austin, Texas of the same name that combines over 10 years of photographs from the fire with images of another more personal tragedy in Magnolia, Texas where the loblollies form the "Big Thicket."
